Taylor Jones is a dedicated and detail-oriented researcher with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston, complemented by a minor in Spanish. With a strong foundation in biological sciences and extensive experience in community health outreach, Taylor has contributed to multiple research initiatives aimed at addressing health disparities in underserved populations such as working closely with community leaders to pilot a COVID-19 relief project in Houston’s Greater Third Ward. With hands-on research experience at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Rice University Nanotechnology-Enabled Water Treatment Program, Taylor is equipped with a robust understanding of public health and a commitment to mitigating inequities in healthcare access and outcomes. Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with expertise in emergency response, Taylor has a unique perspective on health interventions and a passion for supporting research that advances health-equity research strategies that align with the HEALTH Research Institute’s mission.
