Shante Fossie was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In May of 2019, she obtained her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Shortly after receiving her degree, she relocated to Los Angeles, California, where she earned her M.A. in Education, Option in Research & Evaluation. Continuing with her education, currently, she is attaining her Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership & Policy Studies at the University of Houston-Texas. In addition, she is excited to work as a Program Manager for the Health Center for Addictions and Cancer Prevention. Shante’s favorite quote to live by is “You don't make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering, and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas.” —Shirley Chisolm.
