Jayda Martinez serves as a Program Manager for the HEALTH Research Institute. She has earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from the University of Houston. Jayda has regularly volunteered and worked with multiple not-for-profit organizations that focus on addressing health disparities in underserved communities, such as Honors in Community Health affiliated with the University of Houston, SEARCH Homeless Services, and Taking Texas Tobacco Free. With this, Jayda is a health advocate determined to address health disparities and assist with implementing health equitable lifestyles for underserved communities in her community. Her role with the HEALTH Research Institute enables her to provide institutional and administrative support to the HEALTH Research Institute team to facilitate the HEALTH Research Institute’s goals and mission.
