Native Houstonian, Dr. Damien Kelly, has served in social service organizations for over 15 years, specializing in service to homeless and low-income communities. As an advocate for social change, he has also done missionary work in parts of the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and India. He has been a director for multiple organizations and is now refocusing his career to align with research initiatives attributable to his unwavering belief that today’s research can lead to tomorrow’s cure. He earned a Doctorate in Education and Ethical Leadership from the University of St. Thomas, a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Houston Baptist University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Southern University. Dr. Kelly brings with him much experience with underserved communities and plans to the support the team through health research and advocacy.
