Dr. Pooja Patel research focuses on adolescent gynecologic health, specifically, contraception for Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) including Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC). Patel developed and evaluated several educational interventions aimed to increase awareness of LARC among vulnerable AYA.
