Research Interests
My research interests include the sociology of health and illness, urban sociology, race/ethnicity, and organizations. My work is generally focused on understanding the social sources of health disparities in the United States. In particular, I examines the role of race/ethnicity and urban neighborhood dynamics to analyze how these factors may affect individual health.
