Professor
Department of Physics

Dr. John H. Miller studies the physics and applications of charge transport in biological and condensed matter systems at the UH The Texas Center For Superconductivity (TCSUH) research center. These phenomena include electron and proton transport in mitochondria. Miller collaborates with the Houston Methodist Research Institute to study how alterations in mitochondrial electron transport can increase aggressiveness of prostate cancer—a leading cause of cancer death that especially affects underserved populations.
