It's never too late for a new beginning … another opportunity to quit smoking! The Latino and Behavioral Health Research Team invites Latinx adults who smoke to take part in a wellness program research study. The study includes two main components: a wellness program and assessments. The wellness program consists of 8 health counseling sessions (1 virtual/video and 7 by phone) within a 3-month period and the provision of nicotine patches. There are also three assessments via video for the completion of online surveys. Participation is strictly confidential!

If you or someone you know may be eligible and interested in participating or getting more information, please call the research team at 713.743.7301 or email labhrt@central.uh.edu.
